Social media isn’t just for catching up with old friends and watching funny videos. It is the perfect platform for environmental brands and businesses to raise awareness, garner monetary donations, and connect with people on environmental issues. You’ve probably seen the video of the sea turtle getting a straw pulled out from its nose. Originally shared on YouTube, it has been viewed over 34 million times.
