I’ve loved aniimals for as long as I can remember. They were always around when I was growing up, and even when my grandfather was raising cattle, I was making friends with the cows so I could give them leftover veggies we wouldn’t be able to eat. Spoiler: They loved cucumbers, squash, and corn if you have any bovine friends of your own.
There was a time that I thought about being a veterinarian, but I’ll be honest: I’m the woman who checks to see if the dog dies before I watch something, so chances weren’t good that I was going to go into a profession where I would learn to love the animals that visited me but one day have to say goodbye to them. It’s hard enough with my own fur babies, much less with an extended furry family. I recognize that’s selfish, but self-awareness and self-care are important.
I found other ways I could impact animal friends and make their lives better. One of them was through the work we do at Orange Orchard. Through pet industry franchise public relations strategies, we’ve been able to work with companies around the country as they grow their businesses and help pet owners show their sweet babies some extra love.
There are a lot of folks that grew up like me, wanting to find a way to help animals however they could. Many of them have realized, thanks to franchise public relations, that they don’t have to navigate the pet industry alone. Due to media coverage, podcast interviews and thought leadership opportunities secured through PR, independent pet industry businesses have realized there are support systems available for them.
Conversions are a primary lifeline for franchises, including those in the pet industry. We work with pet industry franchises, securing media coverage and creating useful content for them so they can not only reach potential customers but potential franchise owners, as well. One of the amazing things about the franchise industry is that it allows like-minded individuals to cultivate their interests — and convert their existing businesses — to a franchise with proven systems and existing brand awareness.
If you’re ready to bring in new pet franchise owners, it’s time you partnered with a franchise partner that loves animals and understands the industry. We can speak to franchise development publications, but we can also help you speak to pet companies around the country — and even the world — that are ready to take their business to the next level. If you’re ready to help your franchise grow, give us a call at (865) 977-1973 or contact us online.
